Inspect Fuel Cut

(a) Disconnect the connector from the throttle position


Short terminals IDL and E2 of the wiring connector.

(c) Gradually raise the engine rpm and check that there is fluctuation between the fuel cut and fuel return points.

NOTE: The vehicle should be stopped.

Fuel cut rpm:

w/o Air flow meter 1,800 rpm w/ Air flow meter 1,400 rpm M/T

(Idle-up VSV OFF) 1,600 rpm M/T (Idle-up VSV ON) 1.600 rpm A/T

Fuel return rpm:

w/o Air Flow Meter 1,400 rpm w/ Air Flow Meter 1,200 rpm
