Inspection Procedure Notice

When replacing the ABS & TRACTION actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (See page BC-104).

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (SKID CONTROL BUZZER)

(a) Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and turn the intelligent tester main switch on.

(c) Select "ACTIVE TEST" on the intelligent tester.

INSPECT SKID CONTROL BUZZER (POWER SOURCE TERMINAL VOLTAGE)

(a) Disconnect the skid control buzzer connector.

(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).

(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Disconnect the skid control buzzer connector.

(b) Apply battery negative voltage to terminal 1, and battery positive voltage to terminal 2 of the skid control buzzer, and then check that the buzzer sounds.

Skid control buzzer sounds.
