Replace Fuse Efi No Fuse

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - EFI NO. 1 FUSE, EFI NO. 1 FUSE BATTERY)

Engine Room J/B:

EFI No. 1 Fuse

Wire Harness Side:

ECM Connector c®

BATT

Check the harness and the connector between the EFI No. 1 fuse and ECM.

(1) Remove the EFI No. 1 fuse from the engine room J/ B.

(2) Disconnect the A24 ECM connector.

(3) Measure the resistance.

Standard resistance (Check for open)

Tester Connection

Specified Condition

2 (EFI No. 1 fuse) - A24-20 (BATT)

Below 1 Q

Standard resistance (Check for short)

Tester Connection

Specified Condition

2 (EFI No. 1 fuse) or A24-20 (BATT) - Body ground

10 kQ or higher

(4) Reconnect the ECM connector.

(b) Check the harness and the connector between the EFI No. 1 fuse and battery.

(1) Remove the EFI No. 1 fuse from the engine room J/ B.

(2) Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

(3) Disconnect the positive battery terminal.

(4) Measure the resistance.

Standard resistance (Check for open)

Tester Connection

Specified Condition

Battery positive terminal - 1 (EFI No. 1 fuse)

Below 1 Q

Standard resistance (Check for short)

Tester Connection

Specified Condition

Battery positive terminal or 1 (EFI No. 1 fuse) - Body ground

10 kQ or higher

(5) Reconnect the positive battery terminal.

(6) Reconnect the negative battery terminal.

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

INSPECT BATTERY

(a) Check the battery voltage. Standard voltage: 12.5 to 12.9 V at 20°C (68°F)
