REMOVAL

Remove the parts in the numerical order shown in the figure.

1. Dust Cover

3. Lock Bolt

4. Intermediate Shaft & Yoke

5. Sliding Shaft

6. Boot 7 Yoke

INSPECTION & REPAIR Shaft

Check for wear, bending or damage.

Spline

Check for wear or damage.

Spider Bearing

Check for wear or damage.

0 Replace The Spider Bearing

1. Remove the snap rings.

2. Remove the bearing outer race with a vice and socket wrench.

3. Tap out the bearing outer race.

04. Remove the bearing outer race on the opposite side.

Remove the shaft side bearings by the same procedure.

5. Apply MP grease to the new bearings
