Window Regulator

REMOVAL

1. Remove the door trim and service hole cover.

2. Remove the parts in the numerical order shown in the figure.

MP Grease

Remove the window regulator through the service hole.

INSPECTION

Check the following.

1. Gears for wear or damage

2. Spring for deterioration or breaks

3. Lubrication of regulator sliding parts

MP Grease

INSTALLATION

1. Install the parts in the numerical order shown in the figure.

2. Install the service hole cover and door trim.

REMOVAL

1. Remove the door trim and service hole cover. (See Fig. 12-5 to 12-8)

2. Remove the parts in the numerical order shown in the figure.

Remove the door lock through the service hole.

INSPECTION

1. Operation of moving parts

INSTALLATION

1. Install the parts in the numerical order shown in the figure.

2. Install the service hole cover and door trim.

ADJUSTMENT Inside Handle

1. Loosen the screws.

2. Move the handle forward to the poin where strong resistance is felt.

3. Move handle back 0.5 - 1.0 mm (0.020 -0.039 in.) and tighten.

Outside Handle

1. Check the outside handle play. Control link play: 0.5 - 1.0 mm (0.020 - 0.039 in.)

Adjust the control link play to within 0.5 — 1.0 mm (0.020 - 0.039 in.).

Door Lock Striker

Open and close the door by the outside handle and adjust so that the door lock does not contact the striker.
