3. Apply positive battery voltage to ADD relay terminal No. 7, and negative voltage to terminal No. 2. See Fig. 6 . There should be no continuity between relay terminal Nos. 9 and 10.

4. Apply positive battery voltage to ADD relay terminal No. 9, and negative voltage to terminal No. 10. See Fig. 6 . There should be continuity between relay terminal Nos. 3 and 4, and no continuity between terminal Nos. 2 and 4. If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.

1. Disconnect electrical connector from ADD relay. ADD relay is located on right fender apron under hood. See Fig. 3 . Ensure continuity exists between relay terminal Nos. 1 and 2, Nos. 2 and 4 and Nos. 5 and 7. See Fig. 6 .
