NG: Go to next step. 7. Check ABS warning light.

See the combination meter troubleshooting PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE .

NG: Repair or replace bulb or combination meter.

OK: Check for short circuit in harness and connector between ABS warning light and skid control ECU (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).

ABS WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

If the ECU detects trouble, it turns on the ABS warning light records a DTC in memory.

Connect terminals Tc and CG of the DLC3 to make the ABS WIRING DIAGRAM

and prohibits ABS control. At this time, ECU warning light blinks and indicated the DTC.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT:

Troubleshooting in accordance with the chart below for each trouble symptom.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

ABS warning light does not light up

Go to step 1

ABS warning light remains on

Go to step 2

1. Check ABS warning light.

See combination meter troubleshooting LOCATION .

NG: Repair bulb or combination meter assembly (See LOCATION ).

OK: Check for open circuit in harness and connector between GAUGE fuse and skid control ECU (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION

PROCEDURE ).

2. Is DTC output?

Check DTC PRE-CHECK .

YES: Repair circuit indicated by the code output. NO: Go to next step.

3. Check for short circuit in harness and connector between GAUGE fuse and skid control ECU (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).

NG: Repair or replace harness or connector.

OK: Check and replace skid control ECU.
