FRONT BRAKE CALIPER Removal & Installation

1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheels. For removal procedure, see Fig. 8 .

2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten installation bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

3. Fill brake reservoir with brake fluid and bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .

4. Check system for leaks.

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

2. DISCONNECT BRAKE LINE

Using SST, disconnect the brake line. Use a container to catch the brake fluid.

3. REMOVE CALIPER

Remove the 2 mounting bolts and caliper.

4. REMOVE CLIP, 2 PINS AND ANTI-RATTLE SPRING

5. REMOVE 2 PADS WITH 4 ANTI-SQUEAL SHIMS
