Removal

1. DISCHARGE REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

HINT:

At the time of installation, please refer to the following item. Evacuate air from refrigeration system. Charge system with refrigerant and inspect the leakage of refrigerant.

Specified amount: 1,050 ± 50 g (37.03 ± 1.76 oz.)

2. DISCONNECT LIQUID AND SUCTION TUBES

(a) Remove the bolt and nut.

Torque: 10 Nm (100 kgfcm, 7 ftlbf)

(b) disconnect the both tubes. NOTICE:

Cap the open fittings immediatelty to keep moisture or dirt out of the system.

HINT:

At the time of installation, please refer to the following item. Lublicate 2 new O-rings with compressor oil and install them to the tubes.

3. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

5. REMOVE BACK DOOR GARNISH

6. REMOVE REAR QUARTER TRIM RH

7. REMOVE QUARTER PILLER GARNISH (See page BO-79)

8. REMOVE REAR COOLING UNIT

(b) Disconnect the connectors.

(c) Remove the 3 bolts and cooling unit.
