(a) Connect an intelligent tester to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.

(d) Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / ENHANCED OBD II / DTC INFO / CURRENT CODES.

If any DTCs other than P2A00 or P2A03 are output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.

INSPECT AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (HEATER RESISTANCE)

(a) Disconnect the A4 or A5 A/F sensor connector.

(b) Measure the resistance between the terminals of the A/F sensor connector.

1.8 to 3.4 n at 20°C (68°F)

10 kn or higher

(c) Reconnect the A/F sensor connector.

Disconnect the A4 or A5 A/F sensor connector. Turn the ignition switch ON.

Measure the voltage between the +B terminal of the A/F sensor connector and body ground. Standard Voltage

(d) Turn the ignition switch OFF.

(e) Disconnect the E5 ECM connector.

(f) Check the resistance.
