Perform Active Test Using Intelligent Tester For Vent Valve


Connect an intelligent tester to the DLC3. Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the tester ON. Select the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / ENHANCED OBD II / ACTIVE TEST / VENT VALVE (ALONE).

Measure the voltage between terminal VPMP of the ECM connector and the body ground when the vent valve is turned ON (close) and OFF (vent) using the tester.
