The digital clock indicates the time.
To adjust the clock, put the key in the "ON" position.
Pushing the reset knob flashes the indicator for the hour and you can adjust the hour.
Press the reset knob until the desired hour will appear.
After 5 or more seconds pass without operating, the indicator for the minute flashes. Then you can adjust the minute.
Press the reset knob until the desired minute will appear.
After 5 or more seconds passes without operating, the indicator will return to the normal display. 162
If the electrical power source has been disconnected from the clock, the time display will automatically be set to 1:00 (one o'clock).
Cigarette lighter and portable ashtray
To use the cigarette lighter, press it in. After it finishes heating up, it automatically pops out ready for use.
If the engine is not running, the ignition key must be in the "ACC" or "ON" to use the lighter.
Do not hold the cigarette lighter pressed in.
Use a Toyota genuine cigarette lighter or equivalent for replacement.
To reduce the chance of injury in case of an accident or sudden stop while driving, always completely close the ashtray after use.
PORTABLE ASHTRAY The ashtray can be removed and used outside the vehicle. To use the ashtray, open the lid.
When finished with your cigarette, thoroughly extinguish it in the ashtray to prevent other cigarette butts from catching fire. After using the ashtray, close the lid completely.
To remove the ashtray, pull it out from the front cup holder.
The power outlet is designed for power supply for car accessories. To use the power outlet, open as shown in the illustration.
The key must be in the "ACC" or "ON" position for the power outlet to be used.
♦ To prevent the fuse from being blown, do not use the electricity over the total vehicle capacity of 12V/120W.
♦ To prevent the battery from being discharged, do not use the power outlet longer than necessary when the engine is not running.
♦ Close the power outlet lid when the power outlet is not in use. Inserting anything other than an appropriate plug that fits the outlet, or allowing any liquid to get into the outlet may cause electrical failure or short circuits.
To open the glove box, pull the lever.
To reduce the chance of injury in case of an accident or a sudden stop, always keep the glove box door closed while driving.
To use the auxiliary box, open the lid as shown in the illustration.

Rear console box Cup holders
To access the rear console box, pull up the lock release lever while raising the rear console box lid.
The cup holders are designed for holding cups or drink-cans securely.
To use the cup holder:
Front—Push on the cup holder.
Do not place any items other than cups or drink-cans, such as coins, in the cup holder. If any foreign items enter the gap of the cup holder, contact your Toyota dealer.
Rear (type B)—Pull down the armrest.
• Do not place anything else other than cups or drink-cans in the cup holders, as such items may be thrown about in the compartment and possibly injure people in the vehicle during sudden braking or in an accident.
• To reduce the chance of injury in case of an accident or a sudden stop while driving, keep the cup holder closed when it is not in use.
• Rear (type B)—Do not lift the armrest upright when the cup holder is in use.
The bottle holders are designed to hold bottles securely.
Do not attempt to use the holder for any other purpose for which it was intended. Inappropriately sized or shaped objects may be thrown about in the compartment and possibly injured people in the vehicle during a sudden braking or an accident.
Do not put a cup or open bottle in the bottle holder because the contents may spill when the door opens or closes.
Luggage storage box
To use the luggage storage box, open it as shown above.
To reduce the chance of injury in case of an accident or a sudden stop, always keep the luggage storage boxes closed while driving.
Use a floor mat of the correct size.
If the vehicle carpet and floor mat have two holes, then they are designed for use with two locking clips. Attach the floor mat to the vehicle carpet using the clips. Lock the clips into the holes in the vehicle carpet.
Make sure the floor mat is properly placed on the vehicle carpet. If the floor mat slips and interferes with the movement of the pedals during driving, it may cause an accident.
