1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER CENTER FINISH PANEL (See page ME-138)

3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle) (See page IP-84)

4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX UPPER PANEL SUBASSEMBLY (See page IP-84)

5. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (See page IP-84)

6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX CARPET (See page IP-85)

7. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (See page IP-85)

8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END (See page ME-138)

9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT LOWER PAD (See page IP-45)

10. REMOVE STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the stereo jack adapter.

(b) Disconnect the stereo jack adapter connector.
